sangria and gaudi in barcelona

Barcelona might have been my favorite city to visit abroad – tied very closely with Paris. I LOVED being able to speak Spanish and the food was beyond! The city is filled with beautiful markets and Gaudi architecture, which are complemented by the kind culture of the people in the city. I am completely enamored by the warmth I encountered in Barcelona and would love to go back here at some point of my life. Even 5 days wasn’t enough time to experience enough of the tapas and sangria in the city!

  • For an interesting and authentic take on paella, visit Barraca. It has a view of the beach and locals love it!
  • Agust is a unique gastro pub that will stimulate your senses. Their cocktails are great and they have the most adorable cactus shaped dessert made of sorbet and chocolate.
  • I had the best salad I’ve encountered in Europe at MasQMenos. Two words: goat cheese.
